Tihanyi-félsziget and Belső-tó

The Tihanyi-félsziget is Hungary's first protected landscape area: the promenade around Belső-tó, the lavender fields, and the nature trail of the geyser cones are worth a full day on their own. The view from the hill of the Apátság is perhaps the most photographed postcard panorama of Lake Balaton.
