Szársomlyó

Szársomlyó is the southernmost and warmest mountain in the country; its southern slopes are home to a Mediterranean flora and the strictly protected Hungarian colchicum. The hiking trail winding through the 'devil-plowed' karst ridges offers panoramic views of the Villány wine region, while the Sculpture Park of Nagyharsány at its foot features impressive contemporary works of art.
